Playing needs no account. This is what we keep from your comment, and why.
Commenting on dasmina Court Quiz rounds does not require registering. But counting the votes means reading the comments, so if you comment we keep three things about that comment, even if you have no dasmina account.
Your TikTok, Instagram or YouTube handle, the text of the comment and the time you posted it. Nothing else: not your name, not your picture, not your other comments, nothing from your profile.
From the social network itself. We read it from the list of comments that TikTok, Instagram and YouTube show us as the authors of the post — the same list anyone sees under the video.
To count the votes of each round and be able to show afterwards how the count came out, and to detect fraud (multiple accounts, bots, coordinated groups). It is not used for advertising, not sold and not passed to anyone for commercial purposes.
On the organiser's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in running and refereeing a public game: without reading the comments there is no game. They are public comments, made in response to a public call, and we only look at those on the game's own posts.
Two years, the same as every other vote, so that a complaint about a result can be resolved. After that an automatic process deletes them.
If you delete your comment on the social network before the round closes, it is not counted. And you can write to privacidad@dasmina.com to access what we hold about you, correct it, object to the processing or ask us to delete it; tell us your handle and which network you commented on, which is the only thing we can find you by.
